The object of our club is to provide and promote
amateur athletics in Weston-super-Mare and the surrounding area.
With an active membership of around 125, the club
caters for runners and athletes of all ages and abilities. We present a varied
programme of training, competition and social events throughout the year.
We meet for training on Mondays, Tuesday and Thursday each
week. Visiting runners are welcome. Check our latest programme for
details of this month's activities or follow the links on the left for
information on each of our training nights.
New members will receive a warm welcome and all
the expert advice they need whether they want to run 100 metres or a marathon.
You are very welcome to come along and run with us a few times
before deciding whether you would like to join us.
Weston Athletic Club are hosts
and promoters of The Weston Prom Races, an annual series of 5 mile races on the
famous Weston-super-Mare promenade. Races take place on the 3rd Thursday of each
month between September and May.
